2007 NYU Cinema & Media Student Conference

Kimmel Center / King Juan Carlos Center
February 16 & 17

Thanks for visiting the Cinema & Media Student Conference on the Web!

This year's Cinema & Media Student Conference builds on a decade-long tradition of a student-run event where student presenters defend their own unique work. Begun in the NYU Cinema Studies department, the conference has recently grown into an interdisciplinary look at cinema, media, and culture. This year's two-day event, hosted by the Cinema Appreciation & Scholarship Club (CASC), will feature several panels showcasing student research, as well as seminars, a round-table discussion, and a film screening. The conference is co-sponsored by the Cinema Studies department, the TECO, TUSC, the Tisch GSO, and the King Juan Carlos Center.

Conference registration is free and required. Registration will also be available at the door; but for some special events, space is limited, so we recommend advance registration.

If you have any questions about the conference, contact us at

Best wishes,

Cinema Appreciation and Scholarship Club
